Josh Fields Registers Runner-Up Finish at the Taz
411 Motor Speedway Up Next

New Tazewell, Tennessee (04/04/18) – Josh Fields turned a test and tune session on Saturday night into a runner-up finish at Tazewell Speedway in his Reece Monument Co. #11 Tennessee RV Supercenter/ Terror Race Cars Late Model.

“We’ve been battling some issues with the fuel system so we decided to stay close to home last weekend to shake the car down,” Fields commented. “We realized during hot laps that the fuel issue was resolved and that we had an awesome car. That allowed me to go from being in a testing mindset to a racing mindset so we decided to qualify with the Limited Late Model division, and we had a great night. I’m extremely excited about this season and want to thank everyone, who is making it possible.”

Josh Fields made the short trip to Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tennessee) on Saturday night for a test-session that ultimately ended with a solid podium finish. With 11 Limited Late Models on hand for the Charles Trammell Memorial, Fields recorded the sixth-fastest time in qualifying, which locked him into a third-row starting spot for the feature.

Wheeling his way into a podium spot, Josh gained four positions in the 30-lap affair to place second behind Jason Trammell with Brian Smith, Mitchell Burke, Phil Hilton completing the Top-5 finishers.
