As King would stretch his lead early, Crabtree would take fourth from Faulkner on lap four and Austin Neely would snatch fifth away from Faulkner on lap five. Moses would finally win the battle for the second position on lap seven and begin to chase down King. King would start working lapped traffic on lap thirteen and Moses would close in on King and look for the lead beneath King on lap seventeen, but King would maintain the lead. Mack McCarter would begin to mount a charge at this point, grabbing the fifth position from Neely on lap eighteen. King would maintain a steady lead after clearing lapped traffic by lap twenty-two, with Moses and Linville still in pursuit. McCarter would begin to battle with Crabtree for fourth and McCarter would take the fourth spot on lap twenty-six. As the final few circuits slipped away, Moses could not gain any on King, but would get one final shot when McCarter’s fourth place running entry would slow in turn two to draw the only caution of the race. This would set up a two-lap shootout to complete the race, with King holding off Moses for the win, with Linville finishing third, while Crabtree and Neely completed the top five. The remainder of the top ten finishers would be Casey Turman, Bobby Giffin, Faulkner, Dusty Carver, and Andrew Littleton.
