FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Schaeffer’s Oil Iron-Man Late Model Series Releases 2019 Schedule of Events (December 22, 2018)—Officials with the Schaeffer’s Oil Iron-Man Late Model Series presented by DirtonDirt.com have released the all-Tennessee 10-event schedule for the 2019 Late Model season. This will be the fourth season of the series. Joey Standridge of Tellico Plains, Tenn. Is the defending series champion. The 2019 schedule for the Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified Series has also been released with eight events on the schedule. This will be the third season for the Open Wheel Modifieds. Clayton Miller of Elkton, Ky. Is the defending series champion. The 2019 Late Model season will kick off on March 1-2 at Clarksville (TN) Speedway during the 15th Annual Tuckasee Toilet Bowl Classic. Friday’s event pays $3,000-to-win while Saturday’s event will pay $5,000-to-win. The two Clarksville Speedway opening events will be co-sanctioned with the Schaeffer’s Oil MARS Racing Series. The season will end with the Fourth Annual Leftover event at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, Tenn. paying $5,000-to-win. Two events will be co-sanctioned with the MARS Racing Series, one with the Spring Nationals Series and one with the Fall Nationals Series. The Late Model series will visit three new tracks for the first time: Clarksville (TN) Speedway on March 1-2, Wartburg (Tenn.) Speedway on June 7 and Crossville (TN) Speedway on June 28. The Clarksville March weekend will allow the LM20, LM40, 1350 and 1600 Hoosier-only tires. The Open Wheel Series will visit two new tracks in 2019. Clarksville (Tenn.) Speedway will host a first-time event during the 15th Annual Tuckasee Toilet Bowl Classic on March 2 while Wartburg (Tenn.) Speedway will host the series for the first time on Saturday August 10th. Windy Hollow Speedway in Owensboro, Ky. will also host a first-time series event on Sunday April 7th for the Lumberjack Smackdown paying $1,820-to-win in honor of Randle Sweeney. The full purses for each event will be placed in the press release previewing each event as the season goes. The 2019 Iron-Man Late Model Champion will receive $2,000 while the Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified Champion will receive $2,000.
