Tim McCreadie Sixth with LOLMDS at Muskingum County Speedway
Three-Race Swing Through Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri Next

SHINNSTON, W.Va. (07/09/24) Tim McCreadie entered a single Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) event over the weekend with the team’s Valvoline / Seubert Calf Ranches No. 1 Rocket1 Racing / Ace Metal Works / XR1 Rocket Chassis / Durham Racing Engine Super Late Model.

His lone start resulted in a sixth-place finish on Saturday evening at Muskingum County Speedway.

“Rain played a factor in our weekend plans, and as a result we only got one race in on Saturday Muskingum (County Speedway). It was a solid night for the team. We’re looking for wins and podiums, but a sixth-place finish gives us something to build on and keeps us in the thick of the points as we look to the second half of the year,” McCreadie said. “We’re getting a new car ready to hit the track for a very busy next month of racing. Thank you as always to this team and everyone, who supports us.”

With Mother Nature spoiling Friday’s opener at Portsmouth (Ohio) Raceway Park, Rocket1 Racing and Tim McCreadie competed in a single event over the weekend with Saturday’s Freedom 60 at Muskingum County Speedway (Zanesville, Ohio).

Competing against a stout field of 36 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries, McCreadie outran pole-starting Jonathan Davenport in his heat race to secure the eight-lap victory.

With a $20,000 winner’s payday up for grabs in the A-Main, Tim steered to a sixth-place finish in the 60-lap affair.

Tim continues to sit fourth in the latest LOLMDS standings.

Full results from the event are available at www.LucasDirt.com.

McCreadie is now ready for a three-race Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series swing this week that includes events in three states. Action opens on Thursday night with the 16th annual Slocum 50 at 34 Raceway (West Burlington, Iowa), which posts a $15,555 top prize. On Friday night the action shifts south to Tri-City Speedway (Pontoon Beach, Illinois) for the NAPA Know How 50, where a $12,000 winner’s check is on the line. Nick Hoffman Grabs Gondik Law XR Super Series $15,000 Payday
WoO Action Continues this Week in Pennsylvania and Ohio

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (07/09/24) – Win No. 7 of the 2024 campaign for Nick Hoffman was claimed last Tuesday at Gondik Law Speedway aboard his Tye Twarog Racing / NOS Energy Drink No. 9 C&W Trucking / Longhorn Chassis / Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model.

Hoffman battled a lightning-fast surface and Ryan Gustin to collect the $15,000 victory.

“The racetrack was stupid fast tonight too. We were hoping it would slow down a little bit — we were pretty excited to get on something slick and smooth like last year,” Hoffman said. “Just played out in our favor there. I don’t know what happened to (Ryan) Gustin, if I took his air away into (turn) one or what. I felt like my stuff was a little better (than Gustin's) at that point in the race. We’re having a good year so far this year, and with a few improvements it could become a great year.”

Tye Twarog Racing and Nick Hoffman’s northern swing continued last Monday with the XR Super Series-sanctioned Superior Showcase at Proctor (Minn.) Speedway.

Gunning for the $15,000 top prize in Monday’s opener, Hoffman shuffled a spot early in the 40-lapper and went onto to finish fourth.

On Tuesday at Gondik Law Speedway (Superior, Wis.), Nick topped the 27-car field in time trials before placing first in his heat. Starting on the pole for the feature, Hoffman drove underneath Ryan Gustin on lap 25 and paced the remainder of the 35-lap affair en route to his first career XR Super Series victory and the $15,000 winner’ payday.

He recorded his seventh win of the season ahead of Bobby Pierce, Devin Moran, Mike Marlar, and Dennis Erb Jr.

A trip to Ogilvie (Minn.) Raceway on Wednesday for the XR Super Series-sanctioned Minnesota Mega resulted in a 12th-place finish for Hoffman in the $50,000-to-win A-Main.

After Thursday’s prelim fell to wet weather, Nick returned to Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minn.) on Friday for a doubleheader program. He followed up a runner-up finish in Thursday’s rescheduled feature with a sixth-place finish in his preliminary later Friday night.

The NAPA Auto Parts Gopher 50 weekend concluded for Hoffman on Saturday with a fifth-place finish in the 75-lap finale. He chased Bobby Pierce, Brandon Sheppard, Tyler Erb, and Ryan Gustin across the line.

Nick is currently 18 points behind Brandon Sheppard for the lead in the latest World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series point standings.

Full results from the events are available at www.XRSuperSeries.com and www.WoOLMS.com .

Nick continues his pursuit of the World of Outlaws title this week with a three-race run through Pennsylvania and Ohio. Action opens on Thursday evening at Bedford (Pa.) Speedway before shifting to Sharon Speedway (Hartford, Ohio) on Friday and Saturday for a doubleheader.

Carson Ferguson Wins $10,000 in the 4B4EVER 40 at Brushcreek Motorsports
Three-Race LOLMDS Weekend Awaits Paylor Motorsports

“God, these things are so hard to win,” Ferguson said in Victory Lane. “Drake (Troutman) had the car to beat before he started having some type of mechanical issues. I don’t know what happened (and) I really hate that for him. He was the class of the field. Luckily things went our way tonight. This memorial race for Mr. (Jackie) Boggs, I never got to meet him, didn’t have the pleasure to do that, but he’s one that I always watched on videos growing up and he was a wheelman. I gotta thank everybody for putting this race on.”

Taking quicktime honors and winning his heat race, Ferguson started the 40-lap feature from the second row in the third position.

Inheriting the lead after race-leader Drake Troutman dropped out with mechanical issues, Carson led the final 21 laps to secure the $10,000 payday. He topped Josh Rice and Tyler Carpenter who joined him on the podium.

The victory was his third of the season.

Ferguson’s extended weekend of competition took him to Lincoln (Ill.) Speedway on Monday evening for a $20,000-to-win Castrol FloRacing Night in America event. With 22 entries in action Carson raced to an 11th-place finish.

Tyler Erb Wires Tri-State Summer Nationals Field
Increases 2024-Win Total to 11

ST. MARY.S, Ohio (07/09/24) – A busy week of racing for Tyler Erb culminated with a DIRTcar Summer Nationals victory on Sunday night at Tri-State Speedway with his Bulk Material Lift / Anthony’s Pizza No. 1 Best Performance Motorsports / Langenfelder Mechanical Contractors / First Class Septic / XR1 Rocket Chassis / Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model.

From the third-starting spot Tyler charged to the lead on the opening circuit and never looked back on his way to the $5,000 triumph, which marked his 11th win of the 2024 campaign.

“Our car’s been really good, our guy’s been working hard, we drove all night and it’s just fun,” Erb commented in Victory Lane on Sunday night. “I like this place, I haven’t been here in probably six or seven years and it’s just as cool as I remember it. This was a great race, a lot of fun for us, a good way to cap our week — we’ve had a long week.”

Best Performance Motorsports and Tyler Erb ventured north last Monday to compete with the XR Super Series at Proctor (Minn.) Speedway for the Superior Showcase opener.

With a fifth-place heat performance pinning him on the seventh row for the A-Main, Erb climbed two spots to finish 11th.

Back in action on Wednesday at Ogilvie (Minn.) Raceway, Tyler raced his way into the $50,000-to-win Minnesota Mega with runner-up showing in his heat race. Starting in eighth, Tyler improved three positions in the 50-lap affair to register a fifth-place finish.

After Thursday’s prelim fell to inclement weather, Erb’s northern swing continued on Friday with the NAPA Auto Parts Gopher 50 at Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minn.). Competing in a pair of preliminaries to make up for Thursday's rain out, Tyler followed up an eighth-place finish in the rescheduled feature with a fourth-place finish later Friday night.

On Saturday, Tyler earned his spot into the $50,000-to-win Gopher 50 with a second-place finish in his dash. Rolling off 10th for the 75-lapper, Erb marched forward seven positions to record a third-place finish. He joined Bobby Pierce and Brandon Sheppard on the podium.

Erb’s then visited Victory Lane on Sunday at Tri-State Speedway (Haubstadt, Ind.) during the 19th round of the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour. From the third-starting spot he charged to the lead on the opening circuit and went on to record the flag-to-flag victory in the 30-lap feature to increase his 2024 win total to 11.

Tyler’s busy week drew to a close on Monday evening at Lincoln (Ill.) Speedway, where he was competing with the Castrol FloRacing Night in America miniseries. A third-to-second run in his heat race, positioned Erb fifth on the starting grid for the feature. He raced in the Top 5 early before mechanical issues caused him to draw a caution. After ducking into the pits for repairs he rejoined the tail of the field and rebounded to finish 14th.

He currently sits eighth in the latest miniseries standings.

Drake Troutman Tops ULMS Action at McKean County
LOLMDS Competition Continues this Week

HYNDMAN, Pa. (07/09/24) – Drake Troutman notched his fifth win of the season on Friday night. His latest voyage to Victory Lane with his Wheeler Fleet Solutions / CertainTeed No. 7 RFI Resources / Shoe’s Diesel Performance / Longhorn Race Car / Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model was achieved at McKean County Raceway in Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series (ULMS) competition.

Troutman hoped to carry his momentum into the rest of the weekend’s action, but unfortunately he’d be plagued by mechanical woes on both Saturday and Sunday.

“After Portsmouth (Raceway Park) rained out on Friday we decided to head to McKean County (Raceway) and it proved to be a great night for our team and we got the win. We had high hopes for both Saturday and Sunday’s races, but mechanical gremlins plagued us both nights,” Troutman said. “Hopefully we got all the bad luck out of the way so that we can hit the ground running in Lucas Oil (Late Model Dirt Series) action this week.”

With the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series weekend opener at Portsmouth (Ohio) Raceway Park rained out, Drake Troutman made the haul to McKean County Raceway (East Smethport, Pa.) on Friday afternoon.

With 19 United Late Model Series entries on hand, Troutman laid down the quickest lap in qualifying before dominating his heat race. Starting fourth in the 30-lap feature after the redraw, Drake quickly moved into the top spot and led the rest of the evening's A-Main to collect a $4,000 payday. In his second-career triumph with the series, Troutman outran Michael Lake and Ryan Montgomery to the checkered flag.

Returning to the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series on Saturday, Drake Troutman was one of 35 Super Late Models checked in at Muskingum County Speedway (Dresden, Ohio) for the Freedom 60.

Earning his spot in the $20,000-to-win feature with a third-place run in his heat race, Troutman was slated to start from the fifth-row until mechanical issues prevented him from starting the event. He was scored 25th with a DNF.

Wrapping up the extended weekend at Brushcreek Motorsports Complex (Peebles, Ohio), Drake Troutman attempted to defend his title of the 4B4EVER 40.

Leading the first 19 laps of the $10,000-to-win event, Troutman once again suffered a mechanical issue that relegated him to a DNF.

Full results can be found at www.ULMSRacing.com and www.LucasDirt.com .

Drake now looks to return to the road with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) this week with three events in three nights. Action opens with the $15,555-to-win Slocum 50 on Thursday evening at 34 Raceway (West Burlington, Iowa). On Friday evening he’ll roll into the Gundaker family’s Tri-City Speedway (Pontoon Beach, Ill.) for the $12,000-to-win NAPA Know How 50 before visiting Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) on Saturday for the 18th annual CMH Diamond Nationals which posts a $20,000 winner’s check.
