NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series 2017 Week 4 Round Up

Cartersville, GA - Hunter Carroll currently leads the way after Week 4 competition during the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series 27 week season. Carroll secured the top spot after a win on Friday night at Columbus Speedway in Columbus, MS.

Headlines from Week 4:

  • Jamie Rochelle made the move from Greenville Speedway's Factory Stock up to the NeSmith Late Model Division for 2017, and picked up the Weekly Racing Series Victory at Greenville Speedway on Saturday night for his first Late Model win.
  • McKenzie, TN veteran Ronnie Cooper was victorious on Saturday night at Camden Speedway in Camden, TN.
  • Kody Barber nabbed the first victory of his 2017 season during Friday night action at Hattiesburg Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS.

Cartersville, GA - With a win at Magnolia Motor Speedway during Week 4 competition, Jeffery Walker sets atop the points standings with a narrow 5 point lead over Zack Shelton.

Headlines from Week 4:

  • Cruz Wallace picked up his second victory of the 2017 season at ECM Speedway in Arkadelphia, AL.
  • Friday night's winner at Columbus Speedway in Columbus, MS was Joey McKinney.
  • Jeffery Walker visited Victory Lane at Magnolia Motor Speedway on Saturday night to pick up his second win of the Weekly Racing Series season.
  • Camden Speedway's winner was Perry Butler in the #56 machine.

NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division Week 4 of 2017 Round Up

Cartersville, GA -  Tyler Turvin remains in the top spot in the NeSmith Street Stock Division standings. But early indications are that the 2017 National Championship will be tight throughout the season as after 4 weeks of competitions the top 5 are only separated by 4 points.

  • Speedway in Flomaton, AL.
  • Greenville Speedway's NeSmith Street Stock victory went to AC Parker Jr. in his #38 machine.
  • Lee Ray was the big winner at Columbus Speedway in Columbus, MS during Friday night action there.
  • Josh Tomlin visited Victory Lane at Camden Speedway in Camden, TN during Saturday night action.
  • Needmore Speedway saw current points leader Tyler Turvin finish second to winner Jason Price.
  • Grady Holmes took the checkered flag at East Alabama Motor Speedway on Saturday night.
