CAMERON LEADS VP RACING FUELS YOUNG GUNS CHALLENGE SERIES POINTS

CARTERSVILLE, GA – Pace Cameron of Hattiesburg, MS is the current point leader in the VP Racing Fuels Young Gun Challenge Series for Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division drivers 18 years of age and younger. The 17-year-old driver has a best 14-week total of 619 points after three top five finishes and 17 top ten finishes in 19 races.

Cameron runs in the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division in Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series competition at Hattiesburg Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS. The driver that is second in the VP Racing Fuels Young Gun Challenge Series point standings is a regular in the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Tour.

Ashton Winger of Senoia, GA is not only second in the VP Racing Fuels Young Gun Challenge series standings with 503 points, but he is also second in the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Touring point standings, and the 18-year-old driver also leads the Cruise With The Champions Rookie of the Year point standings.

Winger has two wins on the National Tour with five top five finishes and six top ten finishes in eight races. J. Jay Reich of Eden, GA is third with 464 points. The 17-year-old driver is a Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series regular in the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Late Model Division at Oglethorpe Speedway Park in Savannah, GA. Reich has three top five finishes and 10 top ten finishes in 11 races.

Parker Martin of Milledgeville, GA is fourth in the VP Racing Fuels Young Gun Challenge Series with 437 points. The 14-year-old driver has earned points in both the National Tour, and in Weekly Racing Series competition at Cochran Motor Speedway in Cochran, GA. In Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series action, Martin has five top five finishes and eight top ten finishes in eight races.

Another fast 14-year-old, Sam Seawright of Fort Payne, AL, is fifth in the VP Racing Fuels Young Gun Challenge Series standings with 350 points. Seawright has earned most of his points on the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Tour with one top five finish and four top ten finishes in seven races.

The 2018 Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series season ends on September 30, and the 2018 Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series season will end with the $10,000-to-win Possum Town Grand Prix at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS on November 24.
