The Possum Town Grand Prix Set to Roll at The Mag on Thanksgiving Weekend
Magnolia Motor Speedway Features the Possum Town Grand Prix Thanksgiving Weekend November 22-24

Columbus, Mississippi (10/29/18) - The Possum Town Grand Prix will feature the Durrence Layne National Late Models Series competing for $10,000-To-Win in a 100-lap finale. Also in action will be the Mississippi Street Stock Series/Big 10 Street Stocks ($2,000-To-Win), Factory Stocks ($1,000-To-Win), Late Model Sportsman ($1,200-To-Win), and Outlaw Street ($500-To-Win on Saturday ONLY).

Thursday Night November 22rd (Thanksgiving Afternoon) there be an open practice from 5pm-8pm.

The Magnolia State Cotton Pickin make-up features will be held in conjunction on practice night. An Open Practice Session will be held for all divisions from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. with pit admission being $20. After the completion of the Open Practice Session, teams, who elect to not practice, may enter the pit area with their armbands from the rain delayed show.

The make-up event will resume shortly after 8 p.m. with a quick hot lap session for drivers, who are locked into all three features. Immediately following the hot lap sessions the three features will be contested.

Grandstand admission on Thursday, November 22 will be free for both the Open Practice and the completion of the racing program from Saturday, September 22.
Friday November 23 the Durrence Layne Late Models will qualify and run heat races. MSSS/Big 10 Street Stocks will qualify and run heat races. Factory Stocks and Late Model Sportsman will run heat races.

Saturday November 24 the Durrence Layne Late Models B-Mains will be contested followed by the 100-lap, $10,000-to-win finale. Also part of the show will be the MSSS/Big 10 Street Stocks B-Mains and Main Event ($2,000-To-Win), Factory Stocks B-Mains and Main Event ($1,000-To-Win), Late Model Sportsman B-Mains and Main Event ($1,200-To-Win). Outlaw Street will run heats followed by a $500-To-Win Main Event on Saturday ONLY.

Old Timers Race Saturday November 24th Meet and Greet 2pm Race at 3pm.
