SOUTHERN ALL STAR DIRT RACING SERIES PR#4
Southern All Stars Add Two More Dates
FAYETTEVILLE, TN- The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series has added two more races to the 2018 schedule that will start on Sunday March 4th at the Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, SC., March Madness paying $12,000 to win.
The first race will be on Saturday night August 4th at the Blue Ridge Motorsports Park in Blue ridge, GA., a $4,000 to win event. This will be the first trip back to the north Georgia track formerly named Sugar Creek Raceway since 1994 when the Southern All Stars held two events at the 3/8ths mile oval that were won by two Southern All Star Champions Rex Richey and Dale McDowell.
The second date added will be on Saturday night September 15th at the I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater, TN., for a $4,000 to win event. This also will be a return to a track that has been off the schedule for a long time as the track was known in 2004 as Murphy Speedway and another Southern All Star Champion Chris Madden took the win on the huge half mile that it was in 2004, but now has been changed to a 3/8ths mile track.
