Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series Invades Buckshot Speedway on Saturday, February 22 (BRASSTOWN, NORTH CAROLINA) Round two of the Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series presented by Franklin Enterprises schedule will be held next Saturday, February 22 at Buckshot Speedway in Clanton, Alabama. The SAS tour has made four previous stops to Buckshot Speedway with Dillon Tidmore winning both races in 2023 and Joseph Joiner securing a pair of victories in 2022. A $5,000 winner’s check will be up for grabs on Saturday, February 22 for the cars and stars racing with the Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series. In addition to the Super Late Models, the 602 Late Model, Open Wheel Modified, Factory Stock, Crown Vic, and Buzz 4&6 divisions will also be in competition. The pits will open at 2:00pm local time, while the grandstands will start to allow patrons into the facility starting an hour later at 3:00pm. The drivers meeting is scheduled to get underway at 5:30pm and hot laps will take to the track at 6:00pm local time. Grandstand admission will be $15.00 for adults and only $7.00 for kids ages 6-12. Pit admission will be $35.00 for adults and $15.00 for kids ages 6-12. Children ages five and under will be allowed onto the Buckshot Speedway grounds for FREE. Cory Hedgecock, of Loudon, Tennessee, currently sits atop the Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series point standings heading into Buckshot Speedway, as he was the winner of the ‘Winter Championships’ at I-75 (TN) Raceway back on February 1. Hedgecock leads Billy Franklin, Kendall Franklin, Joe Denby, Joshua Chesney, Jordan Rodabaugh, Christian Hanger, Ronnie Johnson, Matthew Brocato, and John Ownbey in the chase for the Championship, which will award the SAS Champion $10,000 at year's end. The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series tire rule in 2025 is as follows: Body rules and the Droop Rule will be the same as those agreed on by both the World of Outlaws Late Model Series and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series - among others.
