PRESS RELEASE #11

 MAY 14, 2020

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LET'S GO RACING BOYS AND GIRLS

It has been 74 days since the Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series has been on the track for the first race of the season at Cherokee Speedway in Gaffny, SC on March 1st, but as the saying goes, we can see light at the end of the tunnel.

The All Stars and Thunderhill Raceway Park Owner Jason Walker are joining together to get started back up with the 2020 season with the Whooping the Wuhan Flu 50 feature on Saturday night, May 23rd on Memorial Day Weekend. The race will pay $5,000.00 to win the 50 lapper with $400.00 to start. Entry fee is $110.00. Dirt on Dirt will carry the nights event for their subscribers.

Jason of Thunderhill said "We are so ready to get people back to the racetrack. We have been in touch with the local officials and they said that they are ready for people to once again get back to their means of entertainment. I am ready for our fans to get out of the house and come watch a great night of racing with us."

Series announcer Dewayne Keith Said "Man, the drivers, crew chiefs, crew members have been wearing me out calling asking when are we going to race. We have just been waiting for the rules with state and local officials to loosen the guidelines so we can get back to what we all love and that is racing."

This will be the inaugural live broadcast that Dirt On Dirt has covered the Southern All Stars. If you are not a subscribed member of Dirt On Dirt, go to their homepage at www.dirtondirt.com and subscribe and get all the latest breaking news on everything that is dirt racing.

Pit gates open at 3:00 CST at Thunderhill with grandstands opening at 5:00.
