Kyle Beard Dominates Ray Tribble Memorial at Old No. 1 Speedway
COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Double Header this Weekend

Trumann, Arkansas (06/04/19) – If you know Kyle Beard and Beard Motorsports very well you know that they have a knack for making last minute decisions to race. Such was the case on Saturday, when a last minute decision found Kyle scoring the $1,500 victory behind the wheel of his Gary Beard Trucking #86 Black Diamond Race Car/ Kuntz & Co. Racing Engine Super Late Model in the annual Ray Tribble Memorial at Old No. 1 Speedway.

“We had originally planned to race the Modified this weekend with the USMTS Modified but rain kind of messed that up, so we decided at the last minute to race a couple of minutes from home at Old No. 1 Speedway with the Super Late Model,” Beard noted. “It was a great night for us with friends and family at a place where I’ve got a lot of laps.

“I want to thank my dad, my crew, and everyone who supports my team and makes it possible.”

Making a last-second decision, Kyle Beard traveled to Old No. 1 Speedway (Harrisburg, Arkansas) on Saturday night, where he competed in the Super Late Model ranks for the Ray Tibble Memorial. With $1,500 on the line in the feature, Beard lapped the entire field to capture his third win of the season.

Bacon Set for Indiana Midget Week after pair of World of Outlaw Feature Runs!

Lonnie Wheatley, WINCHESTER, Ind. (June 4, 2019) – After taking in the World of Outlaws’ inaugural “Music City Nationals” at the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway over the weekend, Brady Bacon is ready to chase checkered flags over the entirety of USAC’s Indiana Midget Week.

Bacon takes the wheel of Daryl Saucier’s No. 1st for the six-night set in the Hoosier State that fires off Tuesday night at Montpelier Motor Speedway before moving on to Gas City I-69 Speedway, Lincoln Park Speedway (Putnamville), Bloomington Speedway, Lawrenceburg Speedway and Kokomo Speedway over the ensuing five nights.

Bacon will pull double-duty over half of the six-race stretch while competing in the Longworth No. 410 Non-Wing Sprint Car at the Montpelier, Gas City and Lawrenceburg stops.

Making his first complete World of Outlaws starts of the season over the weekend, “The Macho Man” raced into the feature both nights at the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway amongst fields of approximately 40 cars.

Christening the dirt atop Nashville asphalt on Friday, Bacon timed in ninth in his group and earned the 17th starting position for the feature after a fifth-place heat race run and then finished the night out in 17th.

After a less than desirable qualifying run on Saturday, Bacon rebounded to race from eighth to fifth in heat race action to secure the 17th starting position once again.  Bacon worked his way forward to complete the weekend with a 13th place finish.

“It was a lot like racing Midgets at Du Quoin,” Bacon said of the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.  “You could get around the top for ten laps or so and then it was mostly on the bottom.  It was a neat event though, hopefully we’ll be able to go back next year.”
