Southern All Stars Magnolia Motor Speedway Event Postponed
FAYETTEVILLE, TN—The Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series sponsored by Max Fab along with Magnolia Motor Speedway officials have postponed the upcoming Governor’s Cup set for this Saturday July 13th in Columbus, MS.
The Southern All Stars as well as Magnolia Motor Speedway have suffered several rain outs this season and with the high heat indexes forecasted this weekend as well as the uncertainty of the weather system that is currently forecasted to be in the Gulf of Mexico officials decided that is was best now to postpone the race and try to find another suitable date to rescheduled the event.
Johnny and the staff at Magnolia are like us here at the Southern All Stars we have fought rain basically all year long and with the forecast looking more and more likely with each update of rain over the area during the weekend along with the high heat indexes we just thought it would be better to postpone it and start looking on a reschedule date.” said Southern All Star GM Lynn Acklin.
