SOUTHERN ALL STAR DIRT RACING SERIES PR#32 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Southern All Stars Makes First Visit To I-75 Sept 15th
FAYETTEVILLE, TN—The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series presented by MaxFab is heading back to east Tennessee this weekend and will make its first stop of the year at the I-75 Raceway in Niota, TN., for the inaugural Dirt Slinger Classic Saturday night September 15th, a 40 lap $4,000 to win show for the super late models along with a full racing program with the I-75 Raceway local divisions.
The Southern All Stars are no stranger to the area and the track as the series held a race at the old ½ mile Murphy Speedway that the I-75 Raceway sits inside of now. That race was held in 2004 and won by Chris Madden. This will be the series’ first time to try the new configuration and should be an action packed night of racing.
Jay Scott of Fayetteville, TN., will lead the Southern All Star drivers into the event as he is the current series point’s leader as well as Cruise with the Champions/Dirtondirt.com rookie of the year leader. Ray McElhiney of Pulaski, TN., is second place in points with Mark Dodson of Caledonia, MS., third, Eric Hickerson of Linden, TN., fourth and Joseph Faulkner of Flintville, TN., in the fifth spot all these drivers will be in action.
Other drivers that are expected to be in action include Brad Skinner of Spring Hill, TN., Kenny Collins of Colbert, GA., Jadon Frame of Decherd, TN., Tommy Taylor of Lascassas, TN., Cory Hedgecock of Loudon, TN., Daniel Miller of Fayetteville, TN., Dusty Carver of Englewood, TN., David Crabtree of Knoxville, TN., plus many more from across the area as well.
