Southern All Stars Final Three Races Kick Off This Weekend At I-75 Raceway Over $62,000 Up For Grabs
FAYETTEVILLE, TN—The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series presented by MaxFab has three more races to go for the 2019 season and there will be over $62,000 in prize money up for grabs during those final three events.
The first event will be this Saturday September 21st at the I-75 Raceway in Niota, TN., for the 1st Annual Slinger Classic that will be a 40 lap $4,000 to win event at the tricky 3/8ths mile located between Chattanooga and Knoxville. Cory Hedgecock took the win in the visit by the series in 2018.
The second event in the final three will be another run to east Tennessee on September 28th as the series will be returning to the Smoky Mt Speedway in Maryville, TN., for the King of the Mountain Fall Classic a 50 lap event paying $7,500 to win, Shannon Buckingham is the defending champion of this event.
Then the season finale will be set on Saturday night October 12th at the Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Al., during the NASCAR weekend a 40 lap $4,000 to win event, Jack Hale is the defending race winner for this event.
David Breazeale of Four Corners, MS., has a 32 point lead of Cruise with the Champions/Dirtondirt.com rookie of the year leader Zach Leonhardi of Carterville, GA., with Billy Franklin of Alabaster, Al., third, Riley Hickman of Ooltewah, TN., fourth and Mark Dodson of Caledonia, MS., fifth, all who are exacted to compete at these events.
