Saturday night’s $50,000-to-win finale found Sheppard recording a fifth-place finish in his Valvoline No. 1 Seubert Calf Ranches/ Durham Racing Engines-powered XR1 Rocket Chassis Super Late Model. “Really late in the race when my car came to me, I was a few spots too far back,” Sheppard said. “We just had to make the most out of it and made a few passes on the restarts and just came up short. It’s disappointing because we had a better car than where we finished. We’ll head to Wisconsin this week to go after some more big checks. With the massive 74-car field split into two separate groups for time trials, Sheppard recorded the 11th fastest time in his group. Starting his $3,000-to-win preliminary feature in sixth, Brandon improved three spots in the 25-lapper to register a third-place finish. With his third-place finish in preliminary action on Friday placing him 11th on the starting grid for Saturday night’s $50,000-to-win Prairie Dirt Classic, Sheppard advanced six spots in the 100-lap affair to finish fifth. He followed Kyle Larson, Bobby Pierce, Shannon Babb, and Chris Madden across the line. Brandon now sits 86 points ahead of Chris Madden atop the World of Outlaws point standings. Additional Details Revealed for Inaugural Peach State Classic
Senoia Raceway Mega Event Posts Over $161,000 in Prize Money November 12-13


SENOIA, Ga. (08/20/21) – On the heels of the recent announcement of the inaugural Peach State Classic at Senoia Raceway, more details for the November 11-13 extravaganza are now finalized.

The massive weekend will open at the central Georgia speedplant on Thursday, November 11 with an Open Practice Session. Thursday’s program will also include a complete program for both Hot Shots ($300-To-Win / 15 Laps) and Mini Stocks ($350-To-Win / 15 Laps).

Last but not least, the night’s festivities will be capped by a kick-off party with Corbette Jackson playing a live concert.

On Friday, November 12 action kicks into a high gear with a program headlined by a complete $10,000-To-Win / $600-To-Start Super Late Model program, featuring time trials, heat races, b-mains and a 25-lap feature.

Support divisions for Friday will be 602 Late Model Sportsman ($700-To-Win) and Hobby ($500-To-Win). These divisions will hot lap/qualify to determine their starting positions in their respective 15-lap features.

On Saturday night, November 13 a whopping $52,052 top prize will be on the line for the Super Late Model pilots in a feature that pays $1,052 to take the green flag. A total payout exceeding $123,000 is earmarked for the weekend’s 75-lap finale. The night’s program once again includes a full Super Late Model slate, featuring time trials, heat races, b-mains and the 75-lap feature.

Saturday’s support divisions will be 604 Crate Late Models ($1,000-To-Win / 20 Laps) and Bombers ($400-To-Win / 15 Laps). Both divisions will hot lap / qualify to determine the starting line-ups for their feature events.

The event will also see the staff from the Castrol FloRacing Night in America overseeing the Super Late Model portion of the weekend. Kelley Carlton will be at the helm of Race Direction, while Ray Cook and his staff will oversee technical inspection. Lastly, Dustin Jarrett and Ben Shelton will provide the play-by-play action from the broadcast booth.

Every lap of every race throughout the November 12-13 extravaganza will be broadcast live on FloRacing.

Full early entry details for competitors will be released soon. The Super Late Model early entry fee for the weekend will be $200 if received by November 1. Otherwise, the respective Super Late Model entry fees are $100 for Friday, November 12 and $150 for Saturday, November 13.

Entry fee includes 1 ATV/4-Wheeler/Side-By-Side/etc pass. Additional passes are $10 per day or $25 for all three days.

Thursday’s practice session will run from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. EST. The pit gate opens at 4:00 p.m. with grandstands opening at 5:00 p.m.

On Friday, November 12 the driver’s meeting will be at 5:00 p.m. EST with hot laps at 5:30 p.m. and racing action to follow. The pit gate opens at 12:00 p.m. with grandstands opening at 4:00 p.m.

On Saturday, November 13 the driver’s meeting is at 4:30 p.m. EST with hot laps at 5:00 p.m. and racing action to follow. The pit gate opens at 12:00 p.m. with grandstands opening at 3:00 p.m.

Grandstand admission is $10 on Thursday, November 11. On Friday, November 12 grandstand admission is $30 per person with children (ages 12-and-under) free. Saturday grandstand admission is $40 per person with children (ages 12-and-under) free. A two-day advanced grandstand ticket is available for $60 per person.

Additionally, reserved grandstand seating on the top row is available for $8 per day with chairs allowed. Reserved seating on rows 2-6 is available for $5 per day with stadium seats up to 18” allowed.

2021 Senoia Raceway Season Pass Holders will have the first option to reserve top row seats as a thank you for being a continued supporter of the track.

Thursday pit passes are $25 per person with kids (ages 6-12) $10 and children (ages 5-and-under) free with a paying adult. On Friday pit passes are $40 per person with kids (ages 6-12) $20 and children (ages 5-and-under) free with a paying adult. Saturday night pit passes are $45 per person with kids (ages 6-12) $30, and children (ages 5-and-under) free with a paying adult.

A three-day pit pass is available at a discounted rate of $100 per person with kids (ages 6-12) $50. A two-day pit pass for Friday and Saturday is available at a discounted rate of $80 per person with kids (ages 6-12) $45.

Trackside reserved parking will be available for $55 per spot. 2021 Senoia Raceway Reserved Trackside Holders will have the first option to reserve spots as a thank you for being a continued supporter of the track.

Onsite RV camping is available. Initially, 44 spots (20ft x 50ft) will be made available for reservation at a cost of $75 for the weekend. Based on demand, more spots may be added. Camping check-in begins on Wednesday, November 10 at 5:00 p.m. EST. Check out is Sunday, November 14 by 2:00 p.m. EST.

Pumping/water services/toilet rental will be available from Lion’s Den Portable Toilets (770-599-0077). Pump fee is $30 with water fill-up $10, and weekend toilet rental $75 plus tax)

The weekend Super Late Model tire rule allows for Hoosier 1350/1600/21/55 on all four corners at any time. Tire samples will be taken, and drivers who have tire samples collected for lab testing will have all purse monies held by track officials until tire samples have been found to match benchmark samples. Once samples have cleared the lab the purse monies will be released and mailed to noted car owner. 8” spoilers are required on all cars.
