Ross Bailes would take the race lead at the start of the 20th Annual Rebel Yell main event, with Tanner English, Brandon Overton, Casey Roberts, and Michael Brown giving chase. English and Overton would engage in a battle for second until Overton would loop his machine in turn one on lap five. Back underway, only one more circuit would be completed until Michael Page slowed on the track in turn four and slow action once again. The next restart would see caution wave again in turn two when Donald McIntosh slowed in turn two to keep action halted. The next attempted restart would see an eight-car tangle before everyone went by the flagstand and would become a red flag as the track would become blocked. After the track was cleared, Bailes would continue to lead the way and Michael Brown would draw the next caution on lap eight when he would slow in turn one with a flat left-rear tire. Back underway, Bailes would maintain the lead, with English second and Chris Ferguson would start rolling the topside and make his way to third. English and Ferguson would battle for the second position until Ferguson did a 360-degree-spin in turn two on lap nineteen and continued racing, falling back to the sixth spot and not drawing the caution. Bailes would start working slower traffic on lap twenty and would allow English to close the distance himself and Bailes. Overton drew another caution on lap twenty-seven after making his way back up to the seventh position after his earlier spin and second-place running English would have to be pushed to the pit area after mechanical woes would strike his mount under the caution. The race would resume for another six laps before John Henderson would slow on the track in turn four. This restart would see Bailes again scoot away from the field at the point, while Jake Knowles and Casey Roberts would begin an entertaining battle for the second position that would see Roberts take the spot on lap thirty-five. Bailes would maintain a comfortable lead, while Knowles would continue to challenge Roberts lap after lap, with the duo racing side-by-side for the position for several laps. Ferguson would finally work his way to the fourth position, but would spin his entry in turn two on lap fifty-one to set up a sprint to the finish. Ferguson would draw the final caution on the restart and would take his machine to the pit area. Bailes would lead the final few circuits to claim the victory, with Roberts edging Knowles for the second position. Trent Ivey and Dennis Franklin would complete the top five finishers.
