Southeastern Promoters Workshop Announces Panel of Presenters
Inaugural Workshop Set for January 24 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee

Gatlinburg, Tennessee (01/07/20) – The recently-announced Southeastern Promoters Workshop (SPW) is pleased to reveal the list of presenters for its inaugural gathering on January 24, 2020 at the Gatlinburg Convention Center in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

The presenter list represents an eclectic group of motorsports’ insiders. In fact, the panel currently includes track promoters, race company representatives, driver representatives, series directors, marketing specialist, social media specialist and more.

The itinerary for the one-day workshop will be headlined by the following presenters:

Billy Carroll: Maintaining Sponsor Relations Between Tracks/Series and Companies
Kelley Carlton: Race Night Management and Track Safety
Ray Cook: Driver Trends and Concerns
Kate Dillon: Sponsorship Acquisition Strategies
Bill Martens: New Technology and Tech Tools from GM Performance
Ben Shelton: Community Involvement, Attracting New Fans
Jeremy Shields: Social Media Activation for Tracks and Series
Johnny Stokes: Track Preparation and Race Night Maintenance

The primary focus of the one-day seminar is to bring promoters from tracks, series, and businesses together in one place in an effort to seek new avenues to promote future growth in racing.

“My goal from the get-go with the Southeastern Promoters Workshop was to create a neutral environment, where track promoters, series promoters, and industry insiders could come together to discuss our sport and how we can improve it,” co-organizer Adam Stewart said. “When you look at the list of presenters, you’ll quickly realize that this deal is really diverse and is targeted at everyone. This isn’t a sales pitch for one brand or one series. This deal is for the greater good of us all.”

“Ben [Shelton] and I have worked hard to put together a presenting panel that will offer everyone at least a little something. Our feedback so far from promoters and track staff has been really awesome. Even though this first seminar is coming together late, it’s looking like we are going to have a great turnout. We are encouraging any-and-all promoters and tracks reps to please join us.”
Attendance is free. However, if you’d like to attend, RSVP is requested to Adam Stewart at 256-499-7536 or crateracinusa@gmail.com so that he can plan accordingly.

Additionally, companies are welcome to set up displays at the workshop. Space is limited, so please contact Adam Stewart to reserve a booth.

The opening breakfast will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. on Friday, January 24. The workshop kicks off at 9:00 a.m. before seeing a break for lunch from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Resuming at 1:30 p.m. the presentations and discussions continue until 5:00 p.m., at which time a one-hour reception/ cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres  is set to begin.

Attendees are encouraged to come prepared to ask any-and-all questions to both presenters as well as fellow seminar attendees.
