Jeff Taylor Banks Batesville Motor Speedway Winner’s Cash
Trip to New Mexico and Texas on Tap

Cave City, Arkansas (08/08/19) – For the second-straight week Jeff Taylor took his Industrial Electric No. 5 Spur Bar/ Wehrs Machine/ Provence Construction/ Shaw Race Car Modified to Victory Lane. His latest triumph came on Friday evening at Batesville Motor Speedway.

“Our team had another great weekend and got to Victory Lane. It was especially cool to have my teammate, Travis [Mosley] finishing second to me. I know it won’t be long before his car is on top of the winner’s podium,” Taylor said. “This weekend we are going to head down to New Mexico to do some testing, and then enter an event on Saturday night in Texas. We’re having a blast right now, and I’m looking forward to getting back behind the wheel.”

Friday night found Jeff Taylor in action at Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Arkansas), where he took his Spur Bar No. 5 Modified into battle. Advancing two spots in his heat race, Taylor streaked to a heat race victory, which positioned him eighth on the starting grid for the main event.

Outrunning teammate Travis Mosley, Jeff Taylor topped Mosley, Brint Hartwick, Ricky Engles Jr., and Wayne Brooks at the line to pick up his second straight win in his Shaw Race Car and his fourth overall win of the season.

On Saturday night at Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Missouri), Jeff locked his spot into the main event with an 8-lap heat race victory. Starting in the 10th position in the finale, Taylor passed six cars to reel in a fourth-place finish behind Tony Anglin, Sawyer Crigler, and Shane Kelley.

This weekend Jeff is headed to the Lone Star State to enter a single event on Saturday night. He’ll take part in an IMCA Modified program at Abilene Speedway (Abilene, Texas).
