For Immediate Release: Jordon Mallett leads USCS Sprint Speedweeks points after three races going into final weekend

Two-time USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour presented by K&N Filters National Champion, Jordon Mallett from Greenbrier, Arkansas leads the USCS Sprint Car Speedweeks 2020 mini-series point standings with 440 points after the first three events. Another two-time USCS National Champion, Morgan Turpen from Somerville, Tennessee follows Mallett just 22 points back in the runner-up spot  going into the final weekend of three more events with 418 points. Kyle Amerson from Montgomery, Alabama ranks third in the Speedweek standings while current USCS National points leader Mark Smith from Sunbury, Pennsylvania is tied with Amerson in third place with 406 points each . Hall of Famer Danny Smith from Chillicothe, Ohio is just two points or one position behind of Amerson and Mark Smith in fifth place with 404 points with half of the events left to run.

There were three different winners on the first weekend of the 6-race mini-series. Mark Smith won on Friday, May 29th at Old No. 1 Speedway , On Saturday, May 30th Dale Howard from Byhalia, Mississippi was the victor at Riverside Int. Speedway and on Sunday, May 31st at Lexington 104 Speedway the 2013 USCS National Champion, Derek Hagar from Marion, Arkansas was the winner.

Forty-Six different drivers competed in the 15th annual USCS Speedweeks events on the first weekend with an 33 car average per event.

The final USCS Sprint Speedweeks 2020 weekend kicks off this Thursday, June 11th at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Alabama with USCS Sprint Speedweeks Round #4. On Friday night, June 12th the USCS Outlaw Thunder contingent moves over to Hattiesburg Speedway in Hattiesburg, Mississippi for Round #5 before wrapping up the 15th annual USCS Sprint Car Speedweeks with the Round #6 Finale at Jackson Motor Speedway in Byram, Mississippi.
