FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Atlanta, GA – November 12, 2018 – Jordon Mallett from Greenbrier, Arkansas will wear the crown as the United Sprint Car Series presented by K&N Filters Outlaw Thunder Tour National Champion during the series’ 22nd and 2018 racing season. The young sprint car driver made nine visits to the www.rockauto.com USCS victory lane as the series feature winner. Mallett clinched the title this past weekend during the USCS the North vs. South Sunshine State Sprint Car Shootout at Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Florida where he finished 14th in the 25-lap Friday night preliminary main event after having an engine failure in the main event. That was his only DNF of the season. Mallett’s team then changed engines and rallied back in Saturday night’s Season Finale for a runner-up spot in the Finale. Mallett, is only one of four drivers to ever wear the USCS National crown for two season or more. The 25-year old Arkansan will collect top honors in all three of the USCS regional series sprint car divisions including the USCS Deep South, USCS Mid-South and the USCS Southern Thunder regional series as well. His Championship in the USCS Mid-South regional series was accomplished on the final night of the Mid-South regional series at Riverside Speedway as he eclipsed two-time (201 and 2016) National Champion Morgan Turpen’s lead in the division to capture that title by a scant one point.
