Wells and Sons Motorsports Taps Brandon Overton
Team Set for Trio of Southeast Events this Weekend

HAZARD, Ky. (November 20, 2019) – The Wells and Sons Motorsports team are proud to announce Brandon Overton of Evans, Ga. as the driver of the their Big Blue Smoke House/ Longhorn Chassis/ Cornett Racing Engine-powered Super Late Model, effective immediately.

“We’re thrilled to have Brandon as the newest addition to the Wells Motorsports team,” said team manager, Eric Wells. “We’re looking forward to ending 2019 on a high note and sky’s the limit for 2020!”

Brandon Overton is already well-acquainted with both Eric Wells, and his father David. The duo often traveled and parked alongside each other while Overton was a World of Outlaws (WoO) Late Model Series regular in 2015 and 2016.  

The 28-year-old standout is preparing to compete in the November 22nd-24th events at Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Ga.), Lancaster (S.C.) Speedway, and Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.).

Wells and Overton are formulating plans for 2020, including Overton’s possible return as a WoO regular and the hiring of two full-time crewmen to assist Overton in maintaining the team’s stable of Cornett-powered Longhorn entries.
