Roberts Wins UMP Modified Feature at SMS

The #L27 of Ronnie Roberts took his first UMP Modified win of 2008 at
SMS Saturday night. Finishing in the second position was the #16 of
Danny Jones taking his first top finish of the season.  Ronnie Roberts
Jr. finished in the third position claiming his fourth top finish of
the season.

Bubba Trotter in the #02 car remained in his winning ways on Saturday
night as he took his fourth win of the season in the street stock
division.  The #07 of Earl Woods finished in the second position
taking his fifth top finish of the season. Finishing in the third
position claiming his second top five finish of the season was the #19
of Michael Williams.

The #55 of Earl Grimes took his second feature race win of the season
in the pure stock division.  The #45 car of Steve Pate II finished in
the second position taking his first top five finish of the season.
The #15 of Mike Whitney finished in the third position taking his
second top five finish of the season.

The #D5 of David Necaise took his first win at SMS in 2008 in the
stinger division.  Finishing in the second position was the #26 of
Stephanie Necaise taking her fourth top five finish of the season.
Larry Fletcher in the #B2 car rounded out the top three taking his
third top five finish of the season.

The #26 of Bubba Trotter won his first Pro Stock race of the season on
Saturday night.  Finishing in the second position with four top
finishes is Jeremy Eaton in the #Kc2 car.  The #90 of David Spicer
finishes in the third position taking his second top five finish of
the season.

South Mississippi Speedway is to proud announce the addition of the
Crate Late Model division beginning on May 3rd.  The Crate Late Model
division will race every other week in rotation with the pro stock
division.

The next event at SMS will be a regular racing program on April 26th.
