Latest News: For Sale October 10th, 2015 - Ross entered the annual Magnolia State Cotton Pickin' 100 over the weekend at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi). A stellar field of sixty-six Super Late Models registered for action on Friday evening, and after qualifying 18th fastest in his group Ross earned the 6th starting spot for his heat race. He would go on to finish 6th in his heat race, and with only the top three finishers transferring to the feature he was forced to run a b-main on Saturday evening. August 29th, 2015 - Ross Camponovo made the trip to Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi) on Saturday night for a $2,500-to-win, Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) Super Late Model event. August 22nd, 2015 - After more than three months away from the track, Ross Camponovo returned to the driver's seat of his Camponovo Farms #18 Super Late Model. The Clarksdale, Mississippi driver entered the inaugural Brent Means Memorial at North Mississippi Motor Park (Corinth, Mississippi). May 9th, 2015 - Ross Camponovo entered a pair of events over the weekend in his home state of Mississippi. Action opened on Friday evening with a $2,000-to-win event at the familiar confines of Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi). With thirty-three competitors in action, Ross fell short of qualifying for the feature via preliminary action, but would be able to utilize a series' provisional to start at the tail of the field. He would go on to advance to a 15th place finish. Saturday evening took the team to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi), where a stout field of 47 entries registered for battle. For the second night in a row Camponovo would be forced to utilize a series provisional to start the feature. He would retire early to a 24th place finish. Motorsports took part in a doubleheader of COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Super Late Model action over the weekend. Festivities opened on Friday evening at Diamond Park Speedway (Nashville, Arkansas), where twenty-seven competitors registered for battle in the $2,000-to-win event. Ross earned the 9th starting spot for the feature via preliminary action and went on to race his way to an 8th place finish. On Saturday night the team invaded Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, Louisiana) for another $2,000-to-win race. The night started on a rough note as mud clod broke Ross' shield at the start of the heat, which forced him pitside. He started on the tail of a b-main, and managed to advance to a 2nd place finish, which locked him into the 35 lap feature in the 18th starting spot. April 11th, 2015 - Ross was finally able to open his 2015 season on Saturday night with a trip to Moulton Speedway (Moulton, Alabama). The facility hosted a $2,000-to-win event for the Super Late Model division. Ross started the night by qualiying fourth to earn the fourth starting spot for the feature event. Track conditions for the feature made passing difficult, but Camponovo would manage to advance to a third place finish at the checkered flag. October 4th, 2014 - With a heavy heart Ross Camponovo returned to the track over the weekend in the 8th Annual Gumbo Nationals at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi). The $10,000-to-win, Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) Super Late Model event attracted a field of 50 entries to the 1/4 mile oval. Via qualifying on Friday night Ross started third on the grid for his heat race and battle for a transfer spot throughout the event before finishing fourth, which relegated him to a b-main on Saturday night. The consolation event found Camponovo battling the setup on his entry before ultimately finishing fifth, which brought his weekend to an early end. Ross and the entire Camponovo family would like to thank everyone for their amazing support over the past week as the family dealt with the loss of Ross' father, Greg. It has really meant a lot to them all. September 13th, 2014 - After almost two months away from the track Ross Camponovo returned to action with a trip to Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi) for the annual All American 50, which saw a stout field of 36 entries register for battle in the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) event. Via preliminary action he locked into the thirteenth starting spot, but would retire early to a nineteenth place finish. Full results from the event are available at www.StateSeries.com. July 12th, 2014 - Ross Camponovo made the last minute decision to return to action on Friday night as he traveled to North Central Arkansas Speedway (Yellville, Arkansas) to compete with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series presented by Lucas Oil. Nineteen entries took part in the event, and a fourth to second run in his heat race positioned Ross starting fifth on the grid for the feature. During the course of the 35 lap feature he battled in the top five before crossing the finish line in the fourth position behind race winner, Jesse Stovall, Austin Rettig, and Kyle Beard. On Saturday night Ross entered a Weekly Racing Series Event at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi), and came away with a third place finish behind race winner, Duke Palasini, and Tanner Kellick. June 7th, 2014 - Ross Camponovo returned to Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) on Saturday night for a $2,500-to-win, Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) event at the 1/4 mile oval. A stout field of 33 entries entered the event, and the outing started on a hight note as Ross earned a spot in the pole sitter's dash via his qualifying effort. After finishing third in the dash he started third in the feature. the team had high hopes for the finale, but unfortunately mechanical woes ended his night early as he retired to a disappointing, eighteenth place finish.
